Not all games are cut out for mobile and we are sick of it. SICK OF IT. Anna in particular is not having it after trying Goat Simulator on iOS and not being able to work the controls at all. This is funny in rare cases, but mostly it just sucks. We see what you're trying to do, game publishers, and we don't like it!
Luckily there are other games to distract us, old people hilariously playing games, games to look forward to and games that we recently played and loved.

You just knew we had to get REALLY pissed about something eventually, right? Well, this is the episode where that happens! What has us so angry? You'll just have to listen to find out ;-)
Other than ranting, we answer an excellent listener question, Jessica talks about a horror game she is loving and an adorable old-timey adventure game. Meanwhile, Anna wrestles with a mobile word game that has gotten haaaard.

Yes, you read that right. This is a totally special, extra episode with our friend Brianna Wu from Isometric! Bri felt lonely since her podcast wasn't recording while one of her co-hosts was at CES so she came to (virtually) hang out with us. As you might expect, chaos ensued.
This episode had no topics, no agenda and no holds barred! We talked about anything and everything that occurred to us which included things that are definitely NOT safe for work so you have been warned.

This week we have yet another fantastic guest on the show. How DO we do it? Hmmm, maybe it's because people like to promote awesome things they are working on? Or is it because we're so cool that everyone loves to talk to us? You be the judge, dear listeners ;-)
Game Designer Thiéry (Terry) Adam joins us to talk about his latest project called Words Are Power. What's the game about and why are we psyched to play it? Listen to find out. We get into all sorts of interesting topics with Thiéry and also read some new iTunes reviews (YAY!).
Speaking of iTunes, please don't forget to review us there and follow us on Twitter too.

No, we didn't do a GOTY show. Maybe next year when we've taken over the world [insert evil laugh here].
In the meantime, we talk about a New Year's gift you should get yourself, Jessica's Maddy Myers fandom, a lackluster video game documentary, a PolyGamer episode that deserves your attention, an opinion on Valve's 2014 and much, much more.

This is our BEST. SHOW. EVER.
Just kidding! In reality, Jessica was viciously sick and Anna was hungry, tired and pissed off so we did our best, but if this isn't the most awesome episode ever, please forgive us. Or don't. We don't care. Because if you whine too much, Jessica might want to kill you like she wants to do in This War of Mine.
Find out about that, recent gaming news we cared about, how Ron Gilbert says you should make games that are hard, but fair and much, much more.

In one of our favorite episodes to date, we talk with Matt Hall, one of the developers of our latest obsession and yours, Crossy Road.
Speaking to us all the way from his native Australia, Matt divulges all sorts of useful info like how to get the game characters you can't buy, what the current verified high score is, plans for future playable characters and much, much more.
We also have Jessica threatening some uppity gamers who have been horrible to the Monument Valley developers on Twitter and all three of us bemoan the current state of buying games on Steam.
